Directors Message

Dear Families,
Happy November! Our classrooms have been buzzing with excitement as the children explore all the wonderful things this season brings—colorful leaves, pumpkins, and lots of hands-on fall fun. It’s such a joy to see their curiosity and creativity shine each day!

At home, try making learning part of your everyday routines. Talk with your child about what they see on a walk—fall leaves, squirrels, pumpkins on porches—and use those moments to build language and curiosity. You might also keep a small “story basket” at home filled with seasonal books or objects for your child to explore and talk about. These simple activities help strengthen vocabulary and imagination while making learning feel like play.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We love watching your children learn, laugh, and grow every day. Wishing all our families a wonderful fall season!

Classroom Happenings

In November, our preschool classes will be full of learning, love and gratitude! We will be focusing on the letters K and T as we explore important themes like Kindness, Thanksgiving, and Community. Our therapy team will be hard at work doing a turkey obstacle course with our preschoolers!

Family Engagement

There are many simple and wonderful ways to build on our current themes at home.

You might:
  • Talk about the different ways your family shows kindness to one another.
  • Ask your child how they can show kindness to others in our community.
  • Encourage your child to share what they are thankful for during dinner or at bedtime.

Together, we can help our children grow in both heart and mind as they learn the true meaning of gratitude and giving.

A Message from the School Nurse

New Jersey Department of Health requires all preschool students (under 5) to receive an annual flu vaccine (N.J.A.C. 8:57-4). Children who have not received the flu vaccine by December 31 must be excluded (not allowed to attend child care/preschool) for the duration of influenza season (through March 31), until they receive a dose of the current influenza vaccine. Please forward documentation of your child’s flu shot to the school nurse’s office.

Donations Needed

Sometimes our preschoolers have so much fun exploring, painting, or playing outside that their clothes get a little messy! If your family has any gently used play clothes or sneakers your child has outgrown, we would greatly appreciate donations for our extra clothing supply. These items help us keep children comfortable and clean throughout the day when spills or accidents happen. Thank you for supporting our preschool community and helping us care for all of our little learners!
